Almost four years ago when I became a mom, I made my first purchase from Tubby Todd. Fast forward to now, and it’s the only skincare our kiddos use. It clean, it smells good, and most importantly it works. Just skim the reviews of their AOO and you’ll see why it has an almost cult-like following.
Today I’m sharing the products we always have in our house that we never let run out. When we were in the middle of our move from SLC to Portland, we accidentally ran out of the body soap. We had some extra drugstore baby soap on hand, so I decided to use it all up before our move. It was terrible! I don’t know a better way to describe it other than the soap felt so much harder than TT’s body wash. It validated why I always reach for more of Tubby Todd’s products.
There are two big sales each year on Tubby Todd’s site. One over memorial day weekend and one during the Cyber Monday madness. I usually will get enough products to last us six months, and then refill everything at the next sale.
Hair + Body Soap & Lotion
I’ve used a few different scents over the years, but I always go back to their lavender and rosemary scent for both the soap and lotion. It smells so good. We have the travel set (that’s how much we love it) and I find myself grabbing their soap when we’re on trips. It’s so soft, sudsy, and smells incredible. Also, pro tip: I prefer the hair and body soap over their bubble bath soap. I feel that it suds up more than the bubble bath option.
All Over Ointment
This is quite possible their most popular product. The reviews speak for why everyone loves this. I even have a jar of it next to my bed and use it as hand lotion. I never let this run out, and we use it all the time. I was just telling someone this morning that if there is a weird rash, dry spot, or just something that generally looks weird/different on the kids’ skin, I’ll reach for this first. And then, in the rare instance it doesn’t clear up, I’ll look into it further on what else needs to be done to fix the issue.
Sunscreen Lotion & Stick
This sunscreen works really well. C and I now both use it too after I got a sunburn using the Beautycounter sunscreen. The sun stick is extremely useful with our older child who hates having sunscreen applied to his face.
Diaper Cream
One of our kids got a severe diaper rash about a month after they were born. This diaper rash worked great and got us through that rough week paired with warm baths with the TT soap. I highly recommend this product.
