My Favorite Activewear

I typically find that if I love what I’m wearing when I’m about to go out for a hike, workout, or move in whatever capacity, that I usually have a better experience. When I’m moving my body, it’s usually in the form of HIIT workouts our studio classes. I’m typically wearing leggings and a tank unless I’m out hiking in which case I’ll grab some layers to throw on, too. I rarely wear shorts unless I’m visiting family in Texas and it’s very hot.

Leggings

I’ve tried Lululemon, Athleta, Beyond Yoga, Zella, and Fabletics leggings over the years. Much to my surprise, my favorites ended up being from Fabletics. The leggings from Fabletics are not all made equally, though. The specific style I always buy are the Defined High-Waisted 7/8 Leggings. I buy two about every two years – that’s how long they last! That being said, I think these are the only leggings I’d recommend from Fabletics because others have definitely not lasted and even ripped in some cases.

Sports Bra

If you follow me on IG or LTK, you know how much I love the JoyLab Longline Sports Bra at Target. I have four of them and I wear them all the time. They work really well under the ribbed tank that I also wear all the time. This is hands-down one of the best sports bras I’ve ever worn and it’s only $20. Run don’t walk to buy this!

Tank Tops

With tank tops I’m all over the place. I’ll wear ones that tie in the front or that tie in the back or are cropped. In all honesty thought I usually whip my shirt off and just rock a sports bra and leggings for workouts. When I’m out hiking I tend to reach for my tanks from Athleta (link to the blue tank above). You can usually find them on sale and they last forever.

Shoes

When doing HIIT workouts, I recently started wearing Vivo shoes. My brother got me onto them, and essentially they are ‘barefoot shoes’. The goal for wearing these types of shoes and this company’s mission are all fantastic reasons to switch over to this shoes. I’m even thinking about using them for hikes as well since they offer an outdoor option.
