What I Bought This Month

June was wild. As I write this, it was one month ago that we first stepped into the house we now live in. It’s been a whirlwind but I’m so grateful to be here. I made a lot of purchases for our new home, but did not include them in this list since that’s for another time. To be honest, most of what I bought last month was for my children or for my face. Amazon has the best kids pajamas, I finally purchased the lip mask I’ve been eyeing, and the start of switching up my skincare routine is beginning with the new skin oil I’m going to try.

Have a great long holiday weekend!

Oak Essentials Ritual Oil: This skincare line is by Jenni Kayne. I went back and forth on whether I wanted to go back to Primally Pure for face oils or try something new now that some of my Beautycounter products are running out. Ultimately, I decided to give this ritual oil a try. We’ll see how I like it.

Laneige Sleeping Mask: I love this lip mask and use it all of the time (not just while sleeping). I was using chapstick each night and my lips were still so dry. I had a sample size of this that had run out, and I finally got the full size and I’m loving it. My lips no longer look like a dry desert.

Bristols 6 Adhesive Nippies: I’ve got a few summer dresses that look better without a bra. This is a fantastic solution that makes me feel like I’m not totally exposed, but can still wear a dress without a bra. I can’t recommend these enough.

Supergoop Glow Screen: I have Beautycounter’s face sunscreen, but it definitely feels more like actual sunscreen rather than make up or face lotion. This Glow Screen has a slight shimmer and feels great on my face.

Kid’s Summer Pajamas: These pajamas off of Amazon are incredible. They are affordable, hold up with many washes, and have so many adorable patterns.

Children’s Slippers: We have hardwood floors all throughout our house. These little house shoes help A not slip and fall. And while it might seem strange to order slippers in June, we live in the pacific northwest where the mornings and evenings are pretty chilly. We got these a few days ago and A already loves them. He’ll wear them year-round.

Babiators: Hands-down the best kids sunglasses!! Unfortunately A lost his a few weeks ago, and so we had to order another pair. Only $20 and they can withstand all the rough and tough activities of a 3 year old.

Haakaa Baby Toothbrush: This is very random, but this toothbrush is perfectly designed for brushing baby’s teeth. I will nurse G right before bed, and then rub her teeth with some Tubby Todd toothpaste on this 360 brush.

Baeba Water Bottle: I finally got G a water bottle. We haven’t really used this yet, but I’m planning to teach her in the next month before she turns one.
