Sharing a random concoction of purchases from the past few weeks that I’ve loved. And because I’m a sucker for sharing things I love with any person that will listen (or read), I’m back here posting more finds that I think are worth buying.

Things I Think You Should Know About

Jewelry Box

After dropping one of my wedding bands into the wall of my house last fall (I know), I figured it was time for a proper jewelry case. This one is affordable and will look great sitting out in our bedroom. (This is a reminder to get jewelry insurance. So grateful I had great coverage and was able to replace my band within a month! We use Jewelers Mutual.)

Hangers

I was all done with plastic hangers. I’ll get wood ones eventually, but I loved this option as a placeholder while we figure out our bedroom set up. And while we’re on the topic of bedrooms, I’ve been doing some major deep dives on bedroom furniture. We are finally, after over a decade of never really giving our bedrooms the love they deserved (this is our sixth bedroom in almost 12 years!), going to prioritize actually furnishing the room. I can’t wait to share all the goodies I’ve found in this process. So far I’ve learned nightstands are expensive and that I’m in love with the idea of an armoire. We’ll see where we end up.

Reading Light

I read every single night before bed. This light has three different temperatures and a dim setting. Also! I’ve read two books this year – ‘Oh My Mother‘ and ‘Birdie & Harlow‘ by Taylor Wolfe.

Continuous Water Sprayer

I had been dipping a comb into a cup of water and then quickly transferring to my kids’ heads to hopefully tame their wild hair when they wake up in the morning. It took forever. This magic hair sprayer makes my life so much easier.

Nut Butter Stirrer

I already talked about this here, but it needed another mention. You need this if you buy raw nut butter.

Hume Deodorant

It’s deodorant. But worth mentioning because I feel like I discuss deodorant a surprising amount with friends. I adore BeWellByKelly and saw she invested in this company a year ago (maybe longer?). I saw it in my local grocery store last week and decided to try it. I LOVE IT. This scent in particular is a real winner. Go get this. (I’ve tried all the nontoxic deodorants, so trust me on this one).

Denim Shorts

We’re currently in the middle of an ice storm in Portland. But I saw these shorts were on sale and I just had to get them. You can’t beat this price. And if you’ve been reading this website for a while, you know my love for Agolde denim.

White Box With Lid

My child got a lot of Hot Wheel tracks for Christmas. I knew this was coming, so I showed up on Christmas Day prepared with all sorts of toy storage. These things are big and can stack. I have three of them. Ikea also has some great options too (but they were not big enough for racing tracks).

Kids Jeans

I bought these for my son last spring on a whim, and I love them so much I went back for more. He’s worn the ones he has now so much that he now has a hole in a knee. My son is not a kid who gets holes in clothing. I know those boys and girls exist, but that is not my child’s personality. So him getting a hole from so much wear means that these jeans are the real deal. I try to do better than shopping fast fashion for my kids, but boys clothing is so pathetically limited and half the time it doesn’t fit my child well. So she went back to Zara for more! (PS: these jeans could work for boys or girls)
